Usage rights, license and renewal
What you may do with a video, for how long, and how renewals work.
Every order comes with a license: usage (organic, paid ads, whitelisting), channels, territory and duration (1, 3, 6 or 12 months). It starts on approval. The PDF certificate and a machine-readable version are under Rights.
We remind you 14 days before it ends. A renewal costs a fixed share of the original price per term, set by the creator (at least €10). With “Renew automatically” Hookline pays from the wallet the day before it ends.
If a license expires while ads with the video are still running, we warn you clearly on the dashboard and the rights page. Pause the ads or renew.
For creators: every renewal is recurring income and is paid out like an order.
